Violinist Hilary Hahn, originally scheduled to perform the Beethoven Violin Concerto next week with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, has had to cancel engagements for the coming month to recover from a muscle strain.
In her place the DSO has booked the excellent young German violinist Augustin Hadelich, who recently performed the Brahms and Dvorák concertos with the Fort Worth Symphony and has also performed in the Chamber Music International series.
